Musical inspiration came early for Makoom. Starting with the viola as a child, he fostered a love for music that is evident in his productions. Following his exposure to trance during the naughts, Makoom dove into the electronic music scene. Makoom’s success as a producer occurred in his late twenties due to his love of culture, travel, and his professional career. While DJ-ing, he’s supported some of the largest names of the trance industry to include Audien, Cosmic Gate, Fatum, Paul van Dyk, and Vini Vici through shows across the United States and internationally. Makoom draws upon his life experience to create a unique and driving sound, a blend between traditional and modern, and a perspective that will surely leave you wanting more. Above all, Makoom ensures that every DJ set is something that crowds can’t hear elsewhere and truly feel that they are in the booth with him.
